At the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, your students will experience an incredible eray of inventions that were made by innovative men and women in the areas of communication, industry, agriculture, industry, domestic life, decorative arts,
and of course transportation.

The Allegheny Locomotive:

This 600 ton steam powered lovomotive is one of the largest ever built.  It was capable of hauling 160 coal cars each with a 60 ton load.

Admiral Byrd's Trimotor:

See the Ford Trimotor aircraft that Admiral Richerd E. Byrd made the world's first flight over the South Pole in.

Lincoln's Chair:

View the actual Victorian rocking chair that President Abraham Lincoln was sitting in when he was assassinated at Ford's Theater on April 14, 1865

Lunar Rover and Quadricycle:

The Quadricycle, the first car that Henry Ford ever built, sits next to a prototype of the first car to drive on the moon.

Presidential Vehicles:

On display here are the cars that transported Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan and the limousine that John F. Kennedy was in when he was assassinated on November 22, 1963.

Washington's Camp Bed:

The bed that George Washington slept in during the American Revolutionary War.
